Keep in mind [Mystin] that the person who commented above about the contest staying open is not a mod. [Nioniel] is the only one who has that kind of control. Keep your chin up, hun. This is also a festival competition rather than an 'official' competition (which run much longer and allow for more participation.) While the festivals tend to be short and end very promptly.

2011-04-27 [Akayume]: Well, I think it is. If you think a contest needs more entries, link it in your diary or mood. Tell friends about it. It's silly to mope and complain when there is something you can try, even if it doesn't end up getting more people to enter. All over elftown participation is low, and the festivals have been neglected and forgotten as of late. I mean, I didn't even know they existed until this year.

Firstly; isn't this submission a photograph that has been manipulated to look like a painting, and not an actual painting? In that case, I don't believe that it would have been eligible for this section anyway.

Secondly, as you already had participated in the photography section of this contest, you knew when the deadlines were. I had already badged Sera Torri before you even added your late submission. It's not very fair to her for this contest to take away her badge when she submitted on time and you did not.

2011-04-28 [Nioniel]: I'm sorry that you chose to remove all of your submissions from Festivals. If you had read what I wrote, I did not accuse you of anything, I simply asked whether it was a manipulated photo. However, the fact that your submission was not eligible had less to do with whatever the answer to that question was and more to do witht the fact that it was a late submission and that the other participant had already been badged as the contest had closed before you submitted your entry.

2011-04-28 [Mystin]: I don't have any hard feelings about this contest, I consider it successful to those who entered. I removed my submissions for personal reasons that I do not care to disclose. With that said anyone saying I have a poor attitude or calling me a troll need to leave me alone.
